Brown…Sugar…Bacon. Need I say more?
I don’t think I’m going back to regular bacon. This is almost like eating candy for breakfast! Sweet and savory deliciousness all in one crispy bacon strip. The best part about this recipe is that it’s oven-baked, so no bacon-grease spatters all over your stove-top.
Put the bacon in the large ziploc bag, add the brown sugar, and toss to coat. You’ll want to use a sheet of parchment paper on your baking sheet for easier clean-up. Put it in the oven for about 20 minutes, let cool, and you’re all set! At the 20 minute mark, the bacon will be quite crispy – if you like your bacon more on the chewy side, take it out of the oven at about 18 minutes. I like mine super crispy – almost burnt! haha
Serve with your favorite breakfast – pancakes, eggs, waffles, french toast…anything!
